My hubby and I have tried two of the flavors of chia bars so far and enjoyed them. As fa as an appetite suppressant they are awesome! My hubby has been on steroids and thyroid meds for 13+ years due to a pituitary tumor and nothing Over-the-counter or prescription over the years has helped with supressing his appetite until he ate a chia bar. Kind of a long story, my husband and I own Elite Collision Center in Battle Ground, and one of our employees, Ron Slaght, attended a party with you a while ago. You gave him an assorted box of your bars, the next day he came in to work and handed them out to all of his co-workers, including myself. He gave me the Coconut one. I am not a big fan of energy bars, so I set it aside. Yesterday, I was done with my morning workout, and needed a lift. I saw the bar, read the ingredients, opened it up and LOVED it. It was like no other energy bar, I only ate half of it, I gave the other half to my husband, and he LOVED it too. So I went back to Ron and asked how I could get more, he still had the empty box sitting on top of a cabinet, we looked at the box and it had your web address on it, so I logged on and bought a box.

I am a skiing enthusiast, on the mountain for many hours at a time. I have never found an energy bar that I felt was good tasting or had the value necessary to give me the energy I needed. The Mt.-n-Man Chia Bar™ includes a high concentration of the chia seed which, is good tasting along with other yummy ingredients such as chocolate, coconut, pineapple, almond, cranberry, banana and peanut butter. I have developed four great-tasting energy bars to date.

 

I am a chef by trade, so back in 1997, I thought, “I can make better tasting bars!” After doing research on the chia seed, I began creating a recipe for an energy bar.  As I developed and refined my own recipe using the remarkable chia seed, I felt compelled to share this wonderfully tasty energy bar with friends and colleagues.  Anyone who tasted the Mt.-n-Man Chia Bar™ were not only impressed with the compact size and great taste but felt a significant, long lasting, natural energy boost. As I shared my bars, I acquired education in developing my own company and taking my bars to market. I trademarked my own company name, logo and packaging and began selling the Mt.-n-Man Chia Bar™ first at the Ski Fever and Snowboard Show 2008 in Portland, Oregon and then at local stores in the winter of 2009.
